Job summary

WACKER in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Customs Compliance Specialist III to lead the implementation of its global Customs and Trade Compliance program. You will work with internal teams and external partners to audit claims and ensure regulatory alignment.

The role supports FTZ, CTPAT, and country-of-origin determinations, collaborating across sites, and may require travel up to 15%. A strong background in data analysis and international logistics is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for this position.
• 5–7 years in international business, supply chain/logistics, or trade compliance.
• CCS/CTCS/CES or broker license a plus but not required.
• Able to travel up to 15%.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead trade compliance tasks related to FTAs, export controls, and OGAs.
• Support country-of-origin determinations and FTA qualifications.
• Coordinate customs activities with brokers, forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Engage with FTZ reporting and CBP interactions as needed.
• Audit entries and help improve efficiency and compliance.
