Job summary
Sunny Wing Logistics Co in El Monte, CA seeks a Senior Customs Broker / Customs Compliance Specialist to lead complex import/export workflows. You will file complete customs declarations, manage ISF filings, duties, and taxes, and ensure CBP compliance while coordinating with clients and customs officers.
The ideal candidate holds a U.S. Customs Broker License, 3+ years in brokerage or trade compliance, strong HTS and ACE knowledge, and bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills for daily
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License required.
- Minimum 3 years in customs brokerage or trade compliance; LAX/LGB port experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HTS classification, CBP regulations, and import/export compliance.
- Experience with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and customs entry software.
Responsibilities
- Execute complete customs declarations, ISF 10+2 filings, and precise tariff classification.
- Review and audit commercial invoices, packing lists, and declaration materials for accuracy.
- Proactively manage and resolve complex customs issues, inspections, and detentions.
- Stay abreast of latest customs policies, regulations, and industry trends to mitigate compliance risks.
- Maintain organized clearance documentation and liaise with customs officers and clients.
