Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to lead end-to-end investigations of non-conformances at customer sites and coordinate corrective actions. You will facilitate root-cause analyses across departments and apply Lean principles to drive waste reduction and process improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on quality leadership, practical problem-solving, and strong communication with customers and partners as AutoStore scales across markets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in quality engineering, manufacturing, design or related technical role.
• Experience leading cross-functional investigations from problem identification to corrective actions.
• Proven track record improving products, processes or customer outcomes in manufacturing/industrial contexts.
• Hands-on experience applying Lean, TPS, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigation and resolution of product and service non-conformances at customer sites.
• Facilitate cross-functional root-cause analysis using 5 Why, 8D, and similar methodologies.
• Define, coordinate, and verify corrective and preventive actions for timely resolution.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve effectiveness.
• Support development of practical quality processes and governance as AutoStore scales.
