Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to serve as the liaison between the manufacturing facility and automotive OEM/Tier 1 customers. You will manage customer quality concerns, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you will lead root-cause analyses, coordinate containment activities, monitor performance metrics, and support supplier quality, internal audits, and cross-functional teams to reduce variation and prevent quality

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or BS in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing quality preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive quality systems, customer-specific requirements, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Experience with 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned automotive customers.
• Manage customer complaints from notification through containment, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and closure.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and other root-cause analysis tools.
