Job summary

Align Production Systems is seeking a Customer Program Manager in Chesterfield, MO. The role leads two engineering teams to deliver engineer-to-order projects, maintaining margins and on-time delivery for Fortune 1000 customers and government programs.

You will own kickoff through acceptance, manage schedules, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and operations while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineer-to-order, custom machinery, industrial automation, or capital equipment environments
• 5+ years leading customer programs and managing engineers or designers directly
• Proven record of delivering complex projects on schedule and at margin
• Experience managing schedules and capacity across multiple concurrent programs with metrics-based rhythm
• Strong customer-facing presence and ability to run program reviews with leadership

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program delivery from kickoff to customer acceptance
• Serve as the single point of contact for Fortune 1000 customers
• Manage program economics including scope, hours, BOM cost and margin
• Maintain an accurate program schedule and lead engineering teams across the organization
