Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Senior Customer Materials Liaison to coordinate, track, and execute all customer-owned material for aircraft maintenance.

You will serve as the primary liaison between customers, Project Management, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure material availability and timely delivery. Responsibilities include managing CSP, CSP requests, CSP reporting, and transferring parts to meet changing priorities, while maintaining data integrity in Trax.

Qualifications

  • Five+ years of aviation material management, MRO operations, supply chain, or project support.
  • Experience using Trax or similar MRO/ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance material requirements and customer-owned inventory processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary material focal point for customer materials.
  • Coordinate ordering of customer-supplied material following customer approval.
  • Manage CSP requests, approvals, receipts, issuances, returns, and inventory transactions within Trax.
  • Coordinate reassignment and reallocation of customer parts to meet changing priorities.
  • Coordinate shipment of parts for repair, overhaul, exchange, and warranty claims.
  • Maintain accurate data and material transactions within Trax and AAR systems.
  • Update material tracking reports, including CSP and customer inventory reporting.
  • Record AWB information, shipment status, and receiving transactions.
  • Correct system discrepancies involving part numbers, inventory records, and material traceability.
  • Assist with coordinating information flow between customers, parts rooms, and production.
  • Support administrative processing of shipping, exchange, repair, and return documentation without determining technical accuracy.
  • Monitor open requisitions and escalate delays or discrepancies to management.
  • Respond to requisition inquiries by providing available status data.
  • Participate in project meetings and customer reviews as required.
  • Promote customer satisfaction through timely communication and follow-up.
  • Perform other non-technical support duties as assigned.
  • Support stores in all other customer related duties.

Description:

The Senior Customer Materials Liaison is responsible for the coordination, tracking, and execution of all customer-owned material to support aircraft maintenance. Acting as the primary liaison between customers, Project Management, Supply Chain and Operations. This role ensures material availability, maintains visibility of all material-related activities, and proactively resolves supply chain challenges to support on-time aircraft delivery and customer satisfaction.

The Senior Customer Materials Liaison is accountable for managing Customer Supplied Parts (CSP), and material status reporting while providing continuous communication to project stakeholders.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Serve as the primary material focal point for customer materials.
  • Coordinate ordering of customer-supplied material following customer approval.
  • Manage Customer Supplied Parts (CSP) requests, approvals, receipts, issuances, returns, and inventory transactions within Trax.
  • Coordinate reassignment and reallocation of customer parts to meet changing operational priorities.
  • Coordinate the shipment of parts for repair, overhaul, exchange, and warranty claims.
  • Maintain accurate data and material transactions within Trax and AAR systems.
  • Update material tracking reports, including CSP and customer inventory reporting.
  • Record AWB information, shipment status, and receiving transactions.
  • Correct system discrepancies involving part numbers, inventory records, and material traceability.
  • Assist with the coordination of information flow between customers, parts rooms, and production by routing requests to the appropriate responsible parties.
  • Support administrative processing of shipping, exchange, repair, and return documentation without determining technical accuracy, applicability, or need.
  • Monitor open requisitions and elevate delays or discrepancies to management for review and resolution.
  • Respond to requisition inquiries by providing available status data, referring technical or approval related questions to authorized personnel.
  • Participation in project meetings and customer reviews as required.
  • Promote customer satisfaction through timely communication and follow-up, without committing to schedules, costs, or availability.
  • Perform other non-technical support duties as assigned.
  • Support stores in all other customer related duties.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
Minimum
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in aviation material management, MRO operations, supply chain, or project support.
  • Experience using Trax or similar MRO/ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance material requirements and customer-owned inventory processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
