Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering within the commercial millwork or casework industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other engineering/drafting software.
• Knowledge of AWI and ADA standards and cabinet construction methods.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and generate detailed production packages.
• Strong documentation practices and version control.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings and customer specifications to develop detailed engineering drawings and production packages.
• Generate cut lists, BOMs, and CNC-ready files for production using engineering software.
• Ensure constructability of all designs with drafting and production teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and shop leads to resolve design challenges.
• Use Innergy or similar software for layouts, data input, and job tracking.
• Contribute to manufacturing process improvements and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with AWI and ADA standards, and client requirements.
• Support product submittals and maintain documentation for approvals.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control for deliverables.
