Job summary

Stevens Industries is seeking an experienced Millwork Engineering Technician to create production-ready drawings and manufacturing information for custom millwork and cabinetry projects. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is helpful but not required; however, relevant CAD drafting or millwork experience is essential.

Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D drawings, reviewing specs, developing routing data, BOMs, and machine code.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD drafting or millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking engineering.
• Ability to read architectural drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify accurate 2D and 3D drawings using CAD and engineering software.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure projects are accurate and ready for production.
• Develop routing data, cut patterns, bills of material, and machine code.
• Work with project managers, engineers, and production employees to resolve design and manufacturing questions.
• Check drawings and production documents for accuracy before release.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing.
• Help improve engineering processes to reduce errors and production time.
