The role partners with legal, relationship teams, and the Loan Documentation Unit to ensure accurate, compliant funding packages. The candidate should bring deep knowledge of loan documentation, strong analytical abilities, and experience coordinating complex transactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial banking or secured lending.
• Proven knowledge of loan documentation and closing processes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for personal and commercial loans.
• Experience with KYC/OFAC, UCC searches, and title commitments.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to train new staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine the legal, regulatory and bank policy documents needed to finalize loan transactions and ensure compliance with policies.
• Prepare internal booking forms and collateral setups for boarding loans and fundings.
• Review complex loan documents to ensure terms and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with relationship managers, legal, and outside counsel on non-standard documents.
• Gather borrower and collateral due diligence (KYC/OFAC, Flood determinations, UCC, title commitments).
• Prepare summary reports of loans audited for management review.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of loan products and collateral types; train junior staff as needed.
