General Description / Primary Purpose

This is work performing housekeeping duties including cleaning restrooms, classrooms, offices, common-use areas, and carpet and tile floors in accordance with the APPA cleaning standards.

Job Function

• Leadership
• Cleans and maintains classrooms, offices, kitchens, conferences rooms, common areas, stairways and building entrance areas.
• Cleans windows, doors, and display cases.
• Performs additional floor cleaning and maintenance duties.
• This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.

Required Qualifications

Completion of ninth (9th) grade required and 1+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Some positions may require possession of a classified drivers license appropriate to a type of vehicle operated.
