Department: Physical Facilities, Custodial Services

Compensation: $19.16 to Negotiable Hourly

General Description / Primary Purpose

This is work assisting with the management of custodial services.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the custodial crew supervisors.
• Approves time submittals and ensures all custodial staff are trained in accordance with APPA cleaning standards and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
• This position is designated as a Tier 2 responder for campus emergencies; in case of a declared emergency, the incumbent will return to campus when directed.
• Responsible for building inspections.
• Maintains custodial supply inventory.
• Maintains custodial equipment.
• Submits work orders.
• Coordinates with other departments as needed.
• Exercises supervision of 4 custodial supervisors and receives general supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
