Job summary

Kansas State University is seeking a Custodial Specialist Senior to join our facilities team. The role focuses on cleaning, operating and programming robotic cleaning equipment, disinfecting surfaces and performing preventative maintenance to support a safe campus environment.

You will work under supervision from the Custodial Services Supervisor, with hours from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and occasional emergency call backs. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of commercial janitorial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain facilities to support health and safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Operate and program robotic cleaning equipment; monitor and report issues with autonomous robots.
• Disinfect surfaces, perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with floor care and other custodial tasks as assigned by leadership.
