Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Senior Analyst based in Boston to partner with Curation Analytics, Merchants, Sourcing, and Planning. You will build scalable reporting, integrate multi-source data, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations that improve assortment performance and commercial outcomes.

You will craft dashboards using Looker/Power BI, diagnose drivers of outcomes, and collaborate across teams to embed insights into recurring reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as listed.
3–6+ years of analytics or data-driven experience.
Strong SQL skills and working with large, multi-source datasets.
Advanced Excel/Sheets proficiency.
Experience building dashboards with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
Ability to translate business questions into structured analyses.
Interest in merchandising, assortment planning, or commercial strategy.
Strong communication to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable reporting and analytics tools for evaluation of performance and opportunities.
Build and maintain reliable datasets by integrating sales, pricing, inventory, supplier, and customer data.
Diagnose performance drivers and identify risks and opportunities for growth.
Analyze assortment performance and pricing competitiveness to improve selection.
Define KPIs and standardize reporting methods for cross-team alignment.
Collaborate with Merchants, Sourcing, Planning, and other stakeholders on analytical solutions.
Develop monitoring and automation to reduce manual reporting and enable faster decisions.
Work with Data Engineering to leverage data infrastructure and improve data quality.
Lead analytical projects from problem definition to actionable insights and follow-up improvements.
