Qualifications

• Three years' CT technologist experience.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Facility-specific licenses/certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescent through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet accreditation requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures, etc.).
