Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County provides radiology services with a CT technologist who produces cross‑sectional images for radiologist interpretation and uses PACS/teleradiology systems. The role requires careful patient care, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT licensure (CA license), BLS, and an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, plus preferred CT certification and three years of CT experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Three years CT technologist experience: Preferred
• ARRT CT certification and CA state licensure required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted CT images for radiologist interpretation
• Operates CT scanner and related PACS/teleradiology systems
• Plans daily workload and ensures adequate staffing to cover vacations and sick days
• Ensures compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures)
• Participates in accreditation processes for the modality

ARRT CT licensure (RT(R)(CT) or RT(R))

CA Radiologic Tech license

BLS certification

Fluoroscopy license (CA/OR preferred)

Venipuncture IV certification
