Job summary

Adventist Health Mendocino County is seeking a CT technologist to operate CT scanners, produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, and support radiology services at our coastal facility in Little River, CA. The role emphasizes clinical care, image quality, and collaboration with radiologists.

The position requires ARRT CT certification, CA licensure, and BLS, with preferred 3 years CT experience and an associate degree in Radiologic Technology. Relocation and signing incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Three years CT technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT RT (CT) certification required.
• Radiologic Tech license in CA required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced CT certification preferred in CA/OR.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA/OR.
• Venipuncture (IV) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet accreditation requirements (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures).
• Leads accreditation processes with governing bodies for the modality.
• Plans daily patient workload and ensures adequate staffing, including vacations and sick days.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
