Job summary

HARMAN International's Roon team seeks a senior software engineer to architect, develop, and maintain high-performance desktop and mobile applications for HiFi enthusiasts across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.

You will lead cross-platform development with C# and .NET, design systems for audio content and low-latency streaming, and mentor peers to raise the technical bar while aligning engineering with business goals.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience with C# and .NET based technologies.
Strong systems software understanding including networking, memory management and filesystems.
Cross-platform development for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop and maintain high-performance desktop and mobile applications across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.
Lead cross-platform development initiatives using C# and .NET technologies to improve scalability and product evolution.
Design and optimize systems that manage audio content, metadata, and low-latency streaming across networks.
Mentor team members on architecture, performance profiling and debugging to raise the technical bar.
Identify risks in project delivery and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
Drive innovation in audio streaming and system architecture to enhance user experience and reliability.
