Job summary

HARMAN Lifestyle is seeking a senior product leader for Roon, responsible for defining strategy, researching user needs, and guiding implementation with a small, remote team. You will own the roadmap, prototypes, and performance metrics, shaping how listeners experience music and how Roon evolves within the Harman ecosystem.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, with engineers and a designer, and requires deep product judgment, strong communication, and a passion for music.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with end-to-end ownership.
• Demonstrated research, strategy, and roadmap leadership.
• Strong ability to communicate with executives and engineers.
• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and define the audience and positioning.
• Grow the audience by understanding how listeners discover music.
• Represent the listener through direct user insights and data.
• Define the feature set with clear rationale for build/cut decisions.
• Own the roadmap across multiple quarters with clear specs.
• Build a data-driven measurement practice to evaluate features.
• Prototype ideas using AI tooling and align with design language.
• Set and defend the quality bar for UX and interactions.
• Explore the codebase and create internal tooling for research.
