Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Settlement Operations to support settlement process flow strategies and drive continuous improvement. The role requires handling settlements, reconciliations and coordination with partners to ensure timely, accurate output.

The ideal candidate has remittance or cross-border finance experience, solid accounting knowledge, and strong communication skills. Applicants should be comfortable with data analysis and process optimization in a dynamic payments

Qualifications

• Experience in remittance or cross-border finance is preferred.
• Understanding of accounting concepts and FX calculations in cross-border remittance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounts/commerce/finance or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving mentality and ability to identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance confirmations, reconciliations and settlement processes with partners.
• Track incentives and rebates, review daily/monthly postings.
• Coordinate with Collections to resolve balance differences.
• Maintain low unreconciled entries through follow-ups and escalation.
• Collaborate with BDMs, agents and financial institutions to resolve issues.
• Escalate technical or process glitches and suggest improvements.
