UAB Medicine, a leading Alabama health system, is seeking a CRNA to lead anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham campus.

The role involves coordinating patient care, mentoring staff, and acting as a clinical resource in a busy academic-affiliated environment. Candidates must have completed an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and hold CRNA certification with APN credentials, plus ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Two years of related experience required.
• Work experience may not substitute for the educational requirement.
• Currently certified as Advanced Practice Nurse with CRNA specialty.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate anesthesia services for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Serve as a clinical resource and lead daily operations.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage and delegate workload to maximize efficiency.
• Mentor allied health personnel and student nurse anesthetists.
