Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a CRNA to lead anesthesia services across diverse surgical procedures at the UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham campus. The role emphasizes autonomy and collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons in a busy, academic environment.

You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students and act as a clinical resource while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Experience working as a CRNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff and students.
• Lead daily operations and ensure adequate staff coverage.
