Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by relevant bodies.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data for planned procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status and physiologic response for patient safety.
• Completes surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
