Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to medical and surgical history for planned procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond appropriately to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids following safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, depth of anesthesia, fluid status, and physiologic responses to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
