Qualifications

• Graduate of a COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Licensed or eligible as a CRNA in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assess and review patient data related to medical and surgical history for planned procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and promptly address emergencies and hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe-practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia.
• Complete documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
