Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services including general, regional and monitored anesthesia care. You will manage induction, maintenance and emergence, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with surgeons to ensure patient safety.

Required are a Registered Nurse license, CRNA certification, APN prescriber license, DEA registration, and a Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be able to fulfill department schedule needs which may include 24/7 call and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services: general, regional and monitored anesthesia care with induction, maintenance and emergence.
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and ensure equipment readiness and sterility prior to anesthesia.
• Carry out post-anesthesia care, monitor recovery, and communicate any complications to the team.
