Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical Senior CRM Sales Operations Analyst to serve as the functional owner and power user for Sales' use of HubSpot. This remote role keeps HubSpot efficient, current, and aligned with sales processes while turning CRM and sales data into actionable insights across business‑to‑business (B2B), business‑to‑consumer (B2C), and direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) channels.

The analyst owns Sales‑facing HubSpot processes, pipelines, dashboards, workflows, governance, and user enablement while partnering with Sales, Marketing, IT, Data, Finance, Customer Service, and other business teams. The role collaborates with the Senior CRM Marketing Operations Analyst on shared customer and account data, lifecycle definitions, lead handoffs, integrations, and cross‑functional reporting. The role also uses Snowflake as a central data repository, supports connections among HubSpot, NetSuite ERP, Snowflake, Badger Maps, and other systems, and coaches Sales users on consistent HubSpot practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional owner, senior power user, and subject matter expert for Sales' use of HubSpot, helping keep sales processes, pipelines, reporting, documentation, and user practices efficient and current.
  • Own business requirements and continuous improvement for Sales‑facing HubSpot properties, pipeline stages, lead routing, workflows, automation, reports, dashboards, permissions, and usage standards in partnership with technical teams.
  • Analyze CRM, account, customer, activity, pipeline, and sales‑performance data across B2B, B2C, and DTC channels to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain recurring and ad‑hoc HubSpot reports, dashboards, and performance summaries that improve visibility into pipeline health, forecast inputs, sales activity, conversion, sales velocity, and territory performance.
  • Partner with Sales leaders and users to improve lead, account, contact, deal, activity, pipeline, territory, and customer‑lifecycle processes within HubSpot.
  • Partner with the Senior CRM Marketing Operations Analyst to align shared contact and company records, lifecycle‑stage definitions, lead handoffs, campaign‑to‑pipeline measurement, integrations, and cross‑functional reporting.
  • Maintain and improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of Sales‑owned CRM data through governance standards, field definitions, validation practices, naming conventions, deduplication, and documented data‑entry expectations; coordinate changes to shared contact and company data with the Marketing CRM counterpart.
  • Use Snowflake as a central data repository to access and validate relevant sales and customer data, reconcile reporting differences, and support analysis across CRM and enterprise data sources.
  • Own Sales' business requirements and operational support for integrations and data flows among HubSpot, NetSuite ERP, Snowflake, Badger Maps, and other connected systems in partnership with IT, Data, and system owners.
  • Serve as the primary CRM operations partner for Badger Maps, analyzing field sales activity, customer potential, sales outcomes, and territory data to recommend potential route or territory updates.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Sales‑facing CRM data discrepancies, synchronization issues, workflow errors, reporting inconsistencies, and user‑experience problems; partner with the Marketing CRM counterpart and technical owners when issues affect shared data or processes.
  • Coach Sales users on HubSpot processes and best practices, and create role‑specific training materials, process guides, documentation, and communications that improve adoption and data discipline.
Competency
  • HubSpot Expertise: Applies advanced platform knowledge to sales processes, reporting, workflows, data quality, integrations, governance, and user enablement.
  • Sales Operations Acumen: Understands pipeline management, forecasting inputs, sales activity, account management, territory performance, and the role CRM plays in sales effectiveness.
  • Analytical Thinking: Interprets CRM, customer, pipeline, and sales data and translates findings into practical recommendations.
  • Data Accuracy & Governance: Promotes clean, structured, well‑documented data practices that strengthen reporting confidence and downstream system use.
  • Systems Thinking: Understands how Sales‑owned and shared data flows among HubSpot, NetSuite ERP, Snowflake, Badger Maps, and other connected business systems.
  • Training & User Enablement: Coaches users, explains processes clearly, and creates practical resources that improve adoption and consistent system use.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Builds trust with Sales users, leaders, the Marketing CRM counterpart, and technical partners and translates business needs into clear CRM actions.
  • Problem Solving: Investigates root causes and drives practical resolution across CRM data, workflows, reporting, integrations, and user processes.
  • Process Orientation: Creates repeatable workflows, documentation, governance standards, and operating practices that improve CRM effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in CRM operations, sales operations, revenue operations, business systems, sales analytics, or a related function.
  • Required advanced, hands‑on HubSpot CRM experience, including sales pipelines, reports and dashboards, workflows, properties, lifecycle stages, data quality, integrations, governance, and user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of CRM data structures, sales funnels, lead and opportunity management, account management, customer segmentation, activity tracking, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
  • Experience supporting CRM integrations, monitoring data flows, validating information across systems, and troubleshooting synchronization or data‑quality issues.
