Job summary

Texas Department of Public Safety (HSD) seeks a Senior Critical Infrastructure Engagement Coordinator to lead stakeholder engagement, coordinate the ILO program, and develop information-sharing initiatives for critical infrastructure protection. The role requires an active security clearance and the ability to manage complex partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in intelligence, disaster preparedness, homeland security, critical infrastructure protection, security, or emergency management.
• Must have experience coordinating projects/events and delivering training to adults.
• Experience engaging external partners and organizing meetings with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Texas Infrastructure Liaison Officer Program, including promotion, documentation, information sharing, and event planning.
• Support state-level advisory group coordination and meeting planning for various councils and task forces.
• Research and develop critical infrastructure protection publications for stakeholders.
• Conduct outreach to engage key public and private sector stakeholders.
• Plan and produce workshops, conferences, seminars, briefings, exercises, and meetings to promote protection activities.
• Develop and deliver presentations on critical infrastructure protection and partner engagement for events.
• Design and manage information-sharing platforms and Communities of Interest on the Homeland Security Information Network.
• Attend planning and coordination meetings and support other homeland security activities.
• Travel statewide and occasionally out of state; after-hours availability as needed.
