Job summary

AttainX, Inc. is seeking a Public Relations Manager I to coordinate stakeholder communications and develop engagement materials for DHS CISA councils and advisory groups. The role supports the Stakeholder Engagement Division in critical infrastructure outreach and government-facing activities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in PR or public affairs, with strong writing and event coordination skills, and a willingness to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance. Telework requires COR approval.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in public relations, strategic communications, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, public affairs, or a related field.
• Experience developing executive communications, outreach materials, public messaging, and engagement plans for varied audiences.
• Excellent writing, editing, event coordination, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Ability to review content for accuracy, tone, branding, plain language, accessibility, and approved release procedures.
• Knowledge of DHS processes (FACA, records requirements) and public trust considerations is preferred.
• APR accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop communications and outreach plans for councils, advisory entities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Prepare emails, memoranda, public messaging, executive communications, graphics, and social media content for Government review.
• Coordinate stakeholder participation, meeting agendas, event materials, and follow-up communications.
• Review content for accuracy, tone, approved branding, plain language, and accessibility before submission for approval.
• Support membership outreach and collect feedback to assess participation and engagement effectiveness.
• Maintain communications calendars, outreach records, and version-controlled products using approved tools.
• Perform assigned unclassified engagement duties and safeguard sensitive Government information.
