Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Critical Facility Technician in Omaha, NE, to maintain and operate mission-critical facilities.

You will ensure uptime of essential electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with engineering teams and vendors. The role requires CET2 training and the ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance, with strong communication skills and attention to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime and reliability of electrical, mechanical, and life safety equipment; perform planned maintenance and respond to emergencies.
• Report to the Program Manager and collaborate with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and vendors.
• Maintain maintenance records and log activities in CMMS.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and floor plans; follow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, and fire alarm systems.
• Assist CET 3/4 technicians with CET3 procedures and site-specific tasks.
• Perform daily campus walkthroughs to monitor power, temperature, humidity, alarms, and trends.
