Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring a Critical Facility Technician to maintain and ensure the uptime of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment at a mission-critical campus. You will perform preventative maintenance, address daily tasks, and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you’ll work with Onsite Engineering Operations and vendors, ensuring 99.999% uptime for campus systems while adhering to safety and CMMS documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience.
• Applicants subject to a government security investigation; must be eligible for Top-Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime of critical campus equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with OEO and vendors; log activities in CMMS; ensure documentation and safety compliance.
