Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead the Frontline Crisis Response Team in the Greater Mid Atlantic.

You will bridge Verizon's network capabilities with emergency wireless communications for public safety professionals and first responders. You will develop strategies, manage deployable assets, and collaborate across Network, Product, Marketing, and Legal teams to enable mission-critical communications while driving revenue opportunities and ensuring readiness for crises and planned events.

Qualifications

• Degree or 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Residency within Greater New York / Basking Ridge, NJ area.
• Ability to respond to emergencies 24/7 and multi-day deployments.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT certification; comfortable towing.
• Strong communication and technical aptitude for 4G/5G solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparedness in partnership with sales and customers to strengthen Verizon's role in public safety.
• Build relationships with public safety and emergency management agencies to grow the Frontline brand.
• Drive growth by promoting 4G/5G adoption to create new revenue opportunities.
• Advis e with cross-functional teams to influence local/state policy on cellular technology for mission-critical comms.
• Develop strategies to transition public safety customers to Push-to-Talk tech and interoperability with LMR systems.
• Attend trade shows and field events to articulate Frontline value with professionalism.
• Respond to emergencies with a company vehicle, coordinating deployments.
• Maintain knowledge of deployable assets (SPOT, WECCs, COWs, SatCOLTs).
• Coordinate emergency network augmentation using satellite/power solutions and devices.
• Manage internal relationships to ensure deliverables support the Verizon Frontline mission.
• Ensure equipment readiness and data accuracy in databases.
• Train and test personnel on deployable resources and maintain high technical acumen.
