Job summary

Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst (CIA II/III) to perform senior-level intelligence research and analysis in support of investigations and strategic planning. This role involves data synthesis, interagency coordination, and QA of intelligence products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in law enforcement or related confidential environments preferred.
CIA II: 4 years; CIA III: 6 years in relevant roles.

Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and summarize complex criminal intelligence data to support investigations.
Coordinate findings with investigators and partner agencies for case development.
Conduct assessments of criminal activity, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Prepare intelligence summaries, bulletins, and reports with QA.
Access external law enforcement databases to identify subjects and validate information.
Lead and coordinate analytical efforts for major investigations (CIA III).
