Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking a Criminal Intelligence Analyst to perform intelligence research, collect and analyze data, and disseminate information to support investigations across local, state, and federal levels.

The role provides operational intelligence support to field officers, analyzes suspects and offenses, and forecasts trends using intelligence software. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience as a crime/ intelligence analyst.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions within specified terms.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate data to support investigations.
• Provide field officers with timely information upon request.
• Conduct cross-case link analysis and identify relationships between crimes.
• Review crime statistics and CAD to identify suspects and patterns.
• Prepare reports and present information to assist enforcement activities.
