Job summary

DOC/Community Corrections is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to conduct research, collect and analyze criminal intelligence related to activities within correctional facilities and related populations. You will identify security threat groups, perform crime analysis, link analysis, and produce visual intelligence such as charts and databases to support law enforcement operations.

The role requires at least six months of experience in criminal investigation or intelligence for government law

Qualifications

• Six months experience in criminal investigation or intelligence for government law enforcement or national/regional/local crime/terrorist organizations
• Six months experience in research, collection, correlation, and analysis of information to identify patterns and trends of suspicious or criminal activity
• Six months experience in interpreting criminal laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures
• Six months experience using automated information systems to enter, update, modify, retrieve and report on data
• Six months experience using spreadsheet software to prepare charts, graphs, tables, and visual aids
• Knowledge of federal regulations regarding collection and dissemination of criminal intelligence information

The role identifies security threat groups, performs crime analysis and mapping, conducts link analysis, and prepares visual intelligence products such as charts and databases to support law enforcement operations.
