Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise field crews, providing direction, coaching, and training.
  • Mentor team members and help identify and develop future leaders.
  • Assist management with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and crew assignments.
  • Coordinate daily assignments and monitor job progress.
  • Allocate tasks based on team members' skills and experience.
  • Help manage vehicles, equipment, and supply inventory.
  • Monitor job performance, labor efficiency, quality, and costs.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers and professionally resolve concerns.
  • Communicate job status, delays, safety concerns, and other issues to management.
  • Conduct pre-job safety briefings and enforce company safety policies.
  • Perform quality checks and document job outcomes, safety incidents, and equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and assist with identifying solutions to recurring issues.
  • Participate in management training and gain exposure to higher-level operations responsibilities.
  • Support additional operational projects and initiatives as needed.

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, field services, or a related industry required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with customers, employees, and management.
  • Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50-70% of the time; occasional overnight travel may be required.
