Job summary

World Fuel Services, Inc. is hiring a Senior Analyst, Credit & Risk to support underwriting, risk management, and working capital protection for North American Land portfolios.

You will evaluate counterparty creditworthiness, analyze financial risk exposure, and enable informed commercial decisions. The role collaborates with Commercial, Legal, and Finance, aligns processes between PDI and Oracle ERP, and oversees an outsourced credit team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in credit, risk, or accounting, preferably within commodities or trading environments.
• Strong ability to analyze financial statements and underwrite credit risk with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage inbound credit requests to ensure timely, accurate decisions.
• Analyze customer financial statements to recommend credit limits and assess default risk.
• Evaluate MTM exposure and forward trading activity with customers and suppliers.
• Determine appropriate credit support and security requirements to mitigate risk.
• Partner with Commercial and Legal teams on credit-related matters for customers.
• Support establishment and enforcement of credit policies and underwriting standards.
• Gather and analyze customer information to support credit recommendations.
• Assist in standardizing credit reporting and data analysis across platforms.
