Hydro North America seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to evaluate customer credit risk, set terms, and monitor portfolio health. You will work with Sales, Legal, and Operations to balance risk and business goals, reporting to the Group Credit Manager.

Strong financial acumen and detail orientation are essential for success. The role demands seven years of credit analysis experience and a solid foundation in financial statements, credit reports, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in credit analysis accounts receivable or a related finance function.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Proficiency in credit reports and agency tools such as Dun & Bradstreet and Moody's.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit analysis using financial statements, agency reports, payment history, and market intelligence.
• Lead and influence credit reviews for high-exposure accounts with well-supported recommendations.
• Proactively manage portfolio risk by analyzing exposure, payment behavior, and financial trends.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Legal, and operations to resolve credit and collection issues.
• Oversee documentation of credit decisions and activity through ERP systems and shared tools.
• Drive process improvements and mentor junior team members.
