Job summary

Félix is seeking a Principal Analyst for Loss Mitigation & Forecasting to guard capital, forecast portfolio losses, and optimize collections of non-performing loans. This IC role requires building data models and predictive infrastructure with a strong math-and-operations focus.

You will collaborate with Operations and Data teams to implement automated contact strategies across WhatsApp and omnichannel systems, driving maximum recovery ROI while maintaining data autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Credit Risk Analytics with focus on loss mitigation, collections, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute loss mitigation strategies to optimize collections and recoveries for bad loans.
• Define automated contact strategies with WhatsApp, SMS, and omnichannel systems with Operations.
• Build advanced collections models (e.g., propensity-to-pay scorecards) with Data/Analytics teams.
• Develop loss forecasting models (CECL) to strengthen capital resiliency.
• Manage credit loss budget and capacity reporting to the C-suite.
• Evaluate and onboard third-party vendors and software for loss collection.
