Job summary

Citi is seeking a Credit Risk Senior Analyst in Houston to manage a portfolio of institutional relationships in the Commodities sector. You will perform comprehensive credit analysis, prepare credit memos, and monitor exposure against Citi's risk framework.

This role supports front office origination and works across corporate banking, services, and markets. Key qualifications include 3-5 years of credit experience, a degree in a related field, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of credit experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management.
• Experience with Commodities markets and derivative products.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP accounting, and financial spreading.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties in the Commodities sector using quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Prepare CAMs and assign risk ratings based on independent assessment and internal models.
• Monitor the portfolio for price volatility, supply/demand fundamentals, and geopolitical risks.
• Review and recommend risk ratings across the Commodities Counterparty portfolio.
• Support senior Underwriters on approvals, trade structures, and credit memos.
