Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of professional work experience in credit/counterparty risks, commodities, and/or derivative products.
• Strong credit analysis and financial modeling skills.
• Experience negotiating master trading agreements (ISDA, NAESB, EFET).
• Exceptional analytical aptitude and ability to model scenarios.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Leads credit risk due diligence on commodity transactions and counterparties, focusing on structured/physical commodities.
• Applies strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills to assess risks.
• Negotiates credit terms in master trading agreements and structured transactions.
• Assists other credit officers with due diligence, structuring, and documentation by sharing product risk expertise.
• Supports the Global Commodities Group on ad hoc projects and policy initiatives.
• Presents periodic commodities risk reviews to senior management with exposure metrics.
• Maintains relationships with structuring, sales, trading, and origination teams and mentors junior staff.
