Job summary

Citi is seeking a Credit Risk Senior Analyst in Houston, TX to manage a portfolio of commodities sector clients. You will perform fundamental credit analyses and prepare CAMs, aligning with Citi’s risk appetite.

The role involves ongoing monitoring, escalation of risks, and collaboration with front-office and underwriting teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in credit risk within banking, with exposure to derivatives and commodities, supported by strong financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
3–5 years of credit experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management.
Exposure to Commodities markets and derivative products.
Strong analytical skills and ability to assess liquidity, leverage, and cash flow under volatile markets.

Responsibilities

Perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties in the Commodities sector.
Prepare Credit Approval Memos (CAMs) and assign risk ratings.
Monitor the covered portfolio and escalate potential credit concerns.
Review and recommend risk ratings across the Commodities Counterparty portfolio.
Support senior Underwriters with new transaction approvals and credit administration.
