Job summary

Citi is seeking a Credit Risk Senior Analyst to manage a commodities portfolio, performing in-depth credit analyses and underwriting for derivative facilities. You will prepare CAMs, set risk ratings, and monitor ongoing client risk within Citi’s Wholesale Credit Risk framework.

You will support front office origination and provide data for periodic reviews, reporting to the Commodities Underwriter Manager. Hybrid work and strong analytical skills are essential on this team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of credit experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management, preferably with exposure to Commodities markets and derivative products.
• Experience with Citi's Wholesale Credit Risk Framework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties in the Commodities sector using quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Prepare Credit Approval Memos (CAMs) and assign risk ratings based on independent assessment and due diligence.
• Monitor the covered portfolio take note of commodity price volatility, supply/demand fundamentals, and geopolitical risks.
• Review and recommend risk ratings across the Commodities Counterparty portfolio.
• Support senior Underwriters on new transaction approvals, trade structures, and credit memos.
