Capital on Tap in London is seeking a Senior Credit Operations Associate to join our hybrid office (Moorgate) three days a week. You’ll drive process improvements, own system expertise, and work on growth initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in operations, hands-on problem-solving, and a passion for automation, AI, and data tools like Looker or Power BI. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an operations role with a track record of improving processes.
• Experience as a team lead or manager is a plus.
• Hands-on problem solver who digs into tasks to understand and fix issues.
• Willingness to automate processes and leverage AI to reduce friction.
• Agile and resourceful with quick learning and initiative.
• Proficient in Excel/Sheets; knowledge of Looker/Power BI is a plus.

This is a Hybrid role, in our London (Moorgate) Office 3 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

Credit Operations

sit at the heart of the major projects within Capital on Tap. As a Senior Credit Operations Associate you'll be responsible for:

• Driving process improvement and promoting operational excellence with customer experience at the forefront of everything you do
• Becoming an expert on our systems and the technical side of the business, ready to respond to bugs, crises and cleanups
• Analysing customer journeys to identify inefficient processes, reporting and running pilots to improve user experience
• Working with internal project stakeholders to deliver pilots and commercial initiatives
• Getting stuck into strategic projects powering our growth
• Project ideation, delivery and execution for the company’s biggest problems

We’re Looking For

• Experienced Operator: You have 2+ years' experience in an operations role, with a track record of creating and improving processes. Experience as a team lead or manager is a plus.
• Hands-on Problem Solver: You're comfortable digging into manual tasks and processes to build a deep understanding, then leveraging that knowledge to develop impactful AI and automation solutions.
• Agile & Resourceful: You're action-oriented, quick to grasp new concepts, and adept at figuring things out on the fly.
• Automation Enthusiast: You have a genuine interest in automating processes, using AI where appropriate and eliminating operational friction.
• Adaptable: You can seamlessly transition between collaborating within a team and independently leading initiatives.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets. Experience with data analysis tools like Looker or Power BI is a plus.
