Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Credit Manager to lead credit, collections, and accounts receivable operations across a major market. Based in Tamarac, FL, you will drive risk management, optimize receivables, and mentor a high-performing team.

You will partner with sales and leadership to balance growth with prudent risk, review credit limits, and implement effective collection strategies for a portfolio up to $400 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Progressive experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or a related financial discipline.
• Strong analytical and financial decision-making skills with sound business judgment.
• Experience evaluating credit risk and managing high-value account portfolios.
• Knowledge of UCC fundamentals and risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for credit, collections, and accounts receivable activities across the assigned market.
• Lead, coach, develop, and engage credit team members to support business objectives.
• Evaluate and approve credit applications, credit limits, and account changes based on financial and risk analysis.
• Monitor customer balances, aging, and portfolio performance and act on delinquent or high-risk accounts.
• Develop and execute effective collection and risk-management strategies.
• Manage bad debt exposure, including recovery efforts and escalation when necessary.
• Partner with sales and business leadership to develop credit solutions balancing customer needs and risk.
• Maintain strong partnerships with branch and sales leadership through regular communication.
