Job summary

CEN in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst/Underwriter to perform financial analysis and underwriting of complex loans and relationships. The role focuses on risk assessment for entities or individuals and requires coordination with Analysts I & II under management guidance.

You will generate spreads, review cash flow analyses, prepare credit memos, participate in loan committee meetings, and mentor junior staff while supporting regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
• Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 7 years related experience and/or training, and 4 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate financial spreads, or oversee and review spreads prepared by Analyst I or II within the bank lending operating system (nCino).
• Create spreadsheets to quantify borrower cash flows/project analysis.
• Create credit memos and annual reviews.
• Attend loan committee meetings.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Analyst I & II.
• Coordinate with Analysts to ensure accurate, timely analysis.
• Back up Regional Manager in reviews.
• Maintain alertness and safety at work.
• Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training.
• Perform other related duties as required.
