Job summary

Origence in the United States is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to manage a pipeline of applications for underwriting, negotiating, processing, and capturing loan opportunities across the CU Direct ecosystem.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 10 years of credit analysis experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with lenders, dealerships, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience required.
• Ten years of credit analysis/underwriting experience in within a financial institution or equivalent provider is required.
• Knowledge of lending operations, regulatory compliance and indirect auto lending experience is required.
• Experience adjacent to underwriting (e.g. processing, funding, QA, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting and Loan Origination activities across the CU Direct network.
• Review credit applications and render sound decisions within defined authority; document details and rationale.
• Follow up with lenders, applicants, and origination sources to ensure information is complete and documented.
