Job summary

You will underwrite transactions, analyze financial statements, and prepare concise credit recommendations while collaborating with Sales to structure financing solutions. Ideal candidates bring 5 years of progressive commercial credit experience, familiarity with credit bureaus and reporting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive commercial credit adjudication and underwriting.
• Familiarity with PayNet, D&B, business credit bureaus and credit scorecards.
• Experience in equipment finance, commercial banking, asset-based lending or other commercial credit disciplines.
• Strong financial statement, tax return, cash flow analysis capability.
• Clear credit judgment and the ability to communicate and defend recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite and approve equipment finance transactions within assigned authority and policy.
• Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, and interim financial information.
• Evaluate cash flow, DSCR, leverage, liquidity and repayment capacity.
• Prepare clear credit recommendations for deal review, including complex opportunities.
• Partner with Sales to structure financing solutions balancing risk and customer needs.
• Document rationale for credit exceptions clearly and thoroughly.
• Contribute to portfolio reviews, trend analysis and management reporting.
• Participate in audits, examinations and process-improvement initiatives.
• Communicate credit decisions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Assist in maintaining relationships with partners.
