Job summary

Unity Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to assess commercial loan requests, analyze financial statements, collateral, and terms, and prepare credit proposals to manage risk. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office; prior credit experience in a bank is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
• 3–5 years in a financial institution's commercial loan department.
• Credit training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial condition.
• Assist with loan packages from underwriting to closing.
• Make credit recommendations based on findings.
• Assist relationship managers with loan committee presentations.
• Minimize risk by establishing appropriate credit terms and conditions.
• Review delinquency payment patterns and recommend actions.
• Provide excellent customer service and build internal/external relationships.
