Job summary

Banner Bank is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support sound lending decisions by analyzing complex commercial credit relationships and preparing well-supported recommendations. You will collaborate with lending partners and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment.

You will evaluate business and personal financial statements, cash flows, tax returns, and collateral, while upholding regulatory requirements and internal credit policies to drive sound portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst.
• SBA credit analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing clients.
• Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, collateral, and repayment sources.
• Independently evaluate complex credit relationships and develop recommendations.
• Prepare credit proposals, financial summaries, and written opinions for loan decision makers.
• Partner with lending teams to support credit risk assessment and portfolio management.
• Support Team Leader and provide back-up when needed.
• Train, mentor, and support the development of new team members.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, security requirements, and regulations.
