Job summary

UW Credit Union is seeking a Credit Analyst in Madison, WI to review borrower financials, draft loan presentations, and support underwriting of commercial loans. You will analyze statements for properties, owners and guarantors, validate risk ratings, and provide context on credit risks to inform approvals.

Strong math and analytical skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field required.
• 2-3 years' experience in a Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst, Portfolio Manager and/or Commercial Real Estate Analyst required.
• Strong math and analytical skills; excellent written communication; attention to detail; ability to thrive under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loan compliance with MFRBL loan policy guidelines.
• Analyze financial statements of subject property, owners and guarantors to independently assess strengths and weaknesses.
• Validate risk rating per MFRBL matrix and produce thorough loan presentations for approval.
